I purchased my FOARM "E-Z-Grip - All Terrain" GPS case for my Garmin 76CSx last month, and I am very happy with it. In my opinion, this case and the other two FOARM cases on the market (the "Hikers & Kayakers" case, and the "Non-Skid Marine" case), are superior to those made by other companies. I researched for several months, looking for a good case to protect my GPS investment. I found the "E-Z-Grip-All Terrain" FOARM case to be much more protective than the rather-thin nylon case made by Garmin, which costs a little less, but provides much less protection. In addition to its thicker, better construction, the FOARM cases allow one to use the GPS while it is still in the case. The Garmin case, on the other hand, requires one to remove the unit from the case to read the GPS.
All three FOARM cases come with an excellent nylon lanyard and a strong plastic clip that allows one to clip the unit anywhere for extra security. I find this particularly useful while river-running, as I can clip my GPS to my raft and know that it won't get bounced off while bouncing through a Class IV rapid.
This FOARM case is very-well made, and the rubberized exterior feels durable and is easy to hold. The clear screen protector included with the case is a nice finishing touch by FOARM, protecting the GPS screen, which is the most delicate part of the GPS. In my experience, the GPS screen inevitably gets scratched without a protective cover, and the screen protector included with the FOARM case works very well.
I am an avid mountain biker, back-packer, white-water rafter, and skier, and I can rest assured that my Garmin 76CSx is well-protected while adventuring, thanks to my FOARM protective case for the unit. I highly recommend this case to anyone using their Garmin GPS for outdoor activities.
